Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a talented System Layout Professional to join our team!

Responsibilities

Report to the System Layout Lead
Virtually place automated robotic systems in a manufacturing facility using CAD software, including FactoryCAD
Develop comprehensive zone and system layouts to optimize manufacturing processes
Ensure proper placement and reach of automotive and automated robotic systems to maximize efficiency and safety
Collaborate with other areas of the team, including processing, robotic simulation, and design, to ensure seamless integration of systems
Occasionally travel to customer facilities to provide on-site support and ensure successful implementation of layouts

Qualifications

Experience in System Layout or Plant layout, preferably with automated robotic systems
Experience designing utilizing AutoCAD 3D or 2D
Familiarity with FactoryCAD
Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be a team player with strong collaborative skills
Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workload
