Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Laser Tracker Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Ensure that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings utilizing a Laser Tracker or CMM
- Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
- Implement subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final accuracy requirements
- Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and drawings
- Design inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience operating Laser Tracker (API/Verisurf)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with customers, peers, and subordinates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating CMM machine
- Experience with fixtures
- Quality experience preferred
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense is a plus
- Taurus CMM experience
- White Light Scanning experience is a plus
- PC-DMIS, EZ-DMIS, or SPUD software experience is a plus
