Responsibilities
- Execute Cost Accounting processes for labor collection, rate development and labor distribution.
- Prepare batch processing reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform analytical procedures to reconcile and validate accuracy of labor cost distribution.
- Prepare and process monthly labor journals and provide applicable accounts reconciliations.
- Run weekly reports to monitor unapproved timesheets and uphold SOX controls.
- Provide payroll processing support to SRI.
- Support user inquiries.
- 3 to 5 years experience
- Comfortable working with computer applications and financial systems. Oracle/ERP system experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail for processing activities; Strong analytical skills for monitoring.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of a diverse global workforce.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Discipline to follow procedures and comply with internal control requirements
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access) knowledge
- Availability to work casual overtime if needed
- Understanding of Government Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations and accounting for long term contracts requirements is beneficial
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
