Mechanic

Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment
• Utilize hoists and hand tools
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanic experience
• Must possess the physical ability to perform the job of maintenance mechanic while standing for long periods of time
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Must have Knowledge of PCs including working with Microsoft Office software products
• Only United States Citizens can be considered
• Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with military vehicles
• Previous experience working on Bradley vehicle
• Welding experience is a plus
