Powertrain Cooling Engineer
Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Powertrain Cooling Engineer to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated powertrain and cooling solutions for ground combat vehicles
Work with suppliers towards the development of the subsystems and components for the powertrain and environmental cooling systems
Perform heat exchanger performance analysis
- Create test plans and actively lead or guide subsystem-level testing
Direct and oversee CAD model development and drawings
Address cost, reliability maintainability, safety, human factors in the development of design
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the area of Powertrain Cooling
Established knowledge of heat exchangers and fans
Experience in CAD and Advanced simulation tools such as Matlab-Simulink and Flowmaster
Ability to direct and lead others in a team environment
Ability to improve existing processes in order to improve efficiency and speed
Excellent Skills in developing technical documents and oral communication
Only United States Citizens can be considered
Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance
