NX Instructor

Geometric Solutions - Troy, MI - Full Time

Waltonen Engineering is seeking a dedicated NX Instructor to join our team! 

Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of Geometric Solutions' Managing Director
  • Provide course instruction and demonstration in an in-person and/or online class setting for NX learners
  • If teaching online, work with IT to set up and maintain the professional and seamless presentation of virtual classes
  • Attend a mandatory orientation session and complete online compliance training
  • Must teach live in-person and/or online for all scheduled class sessions and respond to participant questions and/or feedback
  • Keep abreast of developments in latest features, tools, and industry trends and/or instruction and propose new classes annually to Program Manager, if applicable

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Siemens NX software including CAD, CAM, and CAE
  • NX Design and NX CAM Manufacturing Professional-level certifications are required
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to assist students in overcoming software-related challenges
  • If teaching online, must be willing and able to teach virtually while maintaining the high-quality class experience that participants expect of in-person classes
  • Must have demonstrated skills and/or experience in instruction 
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or Related Field
