Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Senior Processor to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the completion of critical and complex engineering tasks and projects
  • Initiate, direct, supervise, and control both major and minor engineering projects within a designated area of responsibility, providing administrative and technical guidance to a team of employees
  • Coordinate necessary support resources to achieve project objectives
  • Manage timing and weld documentation
  • Monitor project progress and develop strategies to meet mandatory deadlines
  • Ensure coordination between supporting design groups, regulatory functions, and internal activities on a regular basis
  • Prepare general specifications
  • Support, coordinate, and execute quality initiatives
  • Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requests
  • Propose and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Over 7 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Proficiency in Siemens Process Designer and eM-Planner
  • Proficiency in Siemens UG/NX with strong navigation and observation skills
  • Experience in automotive Body-in-White (BIW) engineering, whether light or heavy
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to structured processes and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective in both large and small team settings
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GM standard deliverables, including STDS, WESS, SPD, and XRWDs.
  • Knowledge of peripheral automotive Body-in-White (BIW) departments and their respective deliverables.
